The EDU project was developed to educate children aged 10-14 on the principles and values of the EU, the rights and responsabilities of EU citizenship and foster civic engagement.
The project will develop a free online platform where all the materials can be easily accessed. There will be modules accompanied by games which will teach the target group more about Europe's culture, history, geography and overall diversity. The overall goal is to help children gain a better understanding of what makes Europe so diverse whilst still maintaining unity.
It is important to teach children from a young age about their community and environment and the history that makes it what it is today. The Europe Diverse and United project will not only focus on the cultural aspect but also on the rights which European citizenship provides them so that they can be more active in the democratic process and help the Eu continuously improve.
